Para obtener un GED

Asistencia en clases para el GED satisface los requisitos educativos para cualificar para la acción diferida por el Acto del DREAM.

El GED (equivalencia general de un diploma) es un examen de cinco sujetos que verifica que el examinante tiene el conocimiento académico de un título de bachillerato. La mayoría de empleos y universidades aceptan el GED en lugar de un título de bachillerato. Asistencia en clases para el GED satisface  los requisitos educativos para cualificar para la acción diferida por el Acto del DREAM.

*En Florida, se puede tomar el GED en inglés, español, y francés.

Para obtener un GED, debe:

  • Tener por lo menos 18 años de edad, si no tiene una dispensa por el Comité Escolar regional
  • Inscribirse en uno de estos lugares para tomar el examen del GED
  • Proveer identificación adecuada, como una licencia de conductor, identificación militar, o pasaporte
  • Pagar los honorarios del GED de Florida ($70)
  • Prepararse a tener éxito en el examen. Se requiere una puntuación de
    • 410 en cada sujeto (lenguaje, lectura, escritura, ciencia, y estudios sociales)
    • 2250 o más en total
